The Brand-New Application of YILPORT Gävle: YILPORT Truck Tracking
YILPORT Gävle Container Terminal is live with the brand-new application: YILPORT Truck Tracking. This mobile application is designed to help crane operators serve trucks more efficiently.
Efficiency is achieved by tracking telephone GPS signals and mapping these signals to certain areas within the terminal. When a truck is in a specified field block and bay, it will trigger work instructions in real time for the crane to deliver a container to the truck. This makes the whole process much smoother and faster.
As a result, we’re able to reduce turn-around time in the terminal, allowing us to better serve our customers and provide a smoother, more efficient service.
